COVID-19
We remain fully open and here to support our patients. We continue to provide services, as we have been doing throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and are prioritising delivering of care and services based on clinical needs.
How are we working?
COVID-19 has changed how patients access their GP. The pandemic has super charged the use of remote consultations in primary care, however these will never replace face-to-face appointments which should be available to all patients where appropriate. We do however, regognise that remote consultations can be a convenient way for people to access medical advice and treatment.
Face-to-face appointments continue to be available to all patients where needed. When you book to make an appointment a member of our Patient Services team will ask you a series of questions, please note these are only asked in order to ensure that you are booked with the most appropriate clinician as our clinical team is larger that just the GP model.
You will also continue to be asked to ensure that you attend with a face covering. As a health environment we continue to support clinical vulnerable patients within the practice, as such we have a responsibility to all patients to maintain patients safety and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for all. Face coverings therefore remain mandatory within the surgery.
We may also still advise that you attend your local pharmacy for clinical advice on minor health concerns.
